Active 8s!! A Jazz dance class based workout! Class includes warm up with stretching (both floor and standing), body isolations, Ab work, Plies & Tendues! Get your cardio on with active 8s Across the Floor including basic Jazz footwork and combinations, including kicks and simple jumps. Class will complete with a graceful cooldown of light stretching. This is an all levels class, and is beginner friendly so long as you are familiar with the fundamentals / basics of dance. First Class on August 5th is FREE!

INSTRUCTOR BIO:
Lisa Barretta, former professional dancer and instructor, found her way into leading Barre Fitness classes when she discovered a genre of exercise that beautifully combines her loves: Yoga, Pilates, Conditioning, and of course Ballet.
While teaching both dance and fitness for many years in Silicon Valley, Lisa and her husband recently relocated to Santa Cruz and is thrilled to have found a home in Pleasure Point Sanctuary. She is excited to continue to share her style of Barre with her new community.
