Enjoy the beauty of the rainforest and the comforts of a refuge in charming private cabinas in Montezuma.
Our rooms/cabinas are elegantly designed with every detail focusing on protecting the environment. Most of our rooms have breathtaking ocean views and we are proud to have used non-toxic building materials, organic fabrics, and local artisans to complete our stylish and intimate accommodations.
All of our rooms have ceiling fans, air conditioning, and wonderful organic cotton or bamboo sheets.
To view Anamaya Accommodations, please go to anamaya.com/accommodations
Dorm Casita (5 Twins): $2,900 per person
The Casita was the first house built on the Anamaya property, and it’s one of the cutest little houses in Montezuma. It has a huge deck with hammocks, overlooking the gardens and ocean, two bathrooms & two showers.
Triple (3 Twins + 2 Lofts): Gaia Cabina $3,100 per person
We have a lovely “dormitory style” room at Anamaya that has two small but beautiful bathrooms and two open air showers that look out over the jungle and the ocean. There is a lot of light that floods this space and breathtaking views of the ocean.
Triple (2 Twins + 1 Queen): Hanuman Cabina $3,100 per person
We named this cabina for the monkeys we frequently see in the canopy in front of it. The Hanuman has a beautiful view of the ocean, and an open-air designer bathroom. One of the beds is built into a very unique niche, very queen-like.
ANAHATA: Triple or Double:
Triple (3 Twins): $3,100 per person or
Double Deluxe (1 King / 1 Single): $3,500 per person
More Accessible Room
Once the Master Suite, this room is now called Anahata after the heart chakra partially because it’s in the heart of Anamaya on the second level of the main house. It has a gorgeous private balcony overlooking our epic ocean view with an incredible eastward sunrise ocean view. The room also has vaulted ceilings, a ton of closet space and a large bathroom.
GARUDA SKY TOWER for the more adventurous travelers:
Triple (2 Singles + 1 Queen): $3,100 per person
Double Deluxe (1 King + 1 Queen): $3,500 per person
For the more adventurous travelers
The Garuda Tower is one of our most spectacular cabins, built high on a tower with expansive views of the ocean and jungle canopy. Because it’s so high, it sways a bit like a treehouse when the wind blows or people walk around in it. So don’t book the Garuda if you find that idea unnerving or you’re afraid of heights. This one is for our more adventurous guests. This cabin has two single beds in the main room, or the option of a king size bed, and there’s an additional queen bed in the loft above. Below the cabin area is a large 5m x 5m wood deck with a hammock. This tower has the best views on the property!
Double Deluxe: (2 Twins or 1 King): Bali Cabina $3,500 per person
Best for Couple
More Accessible Room
The Bali Cabina is the most popular and romantic cabina at Anamaya, and is usually the first booked. It was actually designed and made in Bali, then disassembled and shipped here to Costa Rica. The Bali house is a very exotic room and has three walls of glass with large curtains for privacy. This room has a spectacular outdoor garden bathroom with a tub and deck overlooking the ocean.
Double Deluxe: (2 Twins or 1 King): Ananda Cabina $3,500 per person
The Ananda Cabina is our most spectacular accommodation, with the most amazing ocean views, great privacy, with a large beautiful bathtub. Ananda is a favorite amongst couples. This bright and spacious cabina has many windows to let in maximum light and airflow. There’s also a desk, private deck and hammock. Ananda also has a hidden zen garden that helps to add even more beauty and create a very peaceful space.
Double Deluxe: (2 Twins): Jungle Cabina $3,500 per person
No Couples Allowed
More Accessible Room
The Jungle Cabina, or jungle room as we sometimes call it, is our favorite, even though it doesn’t have the ocean views. It’s one of the largest cabinas and the design, decor, and lighting are all very unique and beautiful. But what really makes it stand out is that the bedroom section is built high above a steep slope, making you feel like you’re in a treehouse high up in the jungle canopy. This section has three walls of glass to really connect you with the outside. Even if you’re not staying here, be sure to come check it out because it’s amazing. Guests have seen monkeys, anteaters, toucans, and other animals in the canopy!
Double Deluxe: (2 Twins or 1 King): Lotus Cabina $3,500 per person
More Accessible Room
The Lotus is one of the most popular cabinas because of its panoramic ocean and jungle views to the East and South. There is an open air closet, which is the best way to store clothing in the tropics, and an outdoor deck with hammocks. It has a ‘split king’ Moroccan-inspired bed, open air closet, outdoor deck with hammocks.
Dharma Cabina: Double or Single:
Double (2 Twins): Dharma $2,900 per person
Single (1 King): Dharma $3,100 per person
Originally this was a private room for the owners, but now we’ve opened it up to guests. It’s located underneath our second yoga deck and is one of our most private. It has a great jungle view, and a big tree in front that’s a favorite of local monkey troupes. It also has a large bathroom, outdoor deck with seating and a hammock.
Single Deluxe: (1 Queen): Ganesh $3,600 Single Occupancy
Enjoy everything Anamaya has to offer AND have one of our beautiful deluxe cabanas all to yourself. It’s cozy and private, with incredible south-facing views of the ocean and southern Nicoya peninsula and is unique because it has a view of both the sunrise and the sunset. There is also a deck above with a hammock offering a gorgeous view of the peninsula.
Prana Cabina: Single or Double:
Single Deluxe: (1 Queen): Prana Cabina $3,900 Single Occupancy
Double Deluxe: (1 Queen): Prana Cabina $3,500 Price Per Person
More Accessible Room
The Prana cabina is a favorite cabina of visiting couples or solo travellers. It’s cozy and private, with incredible south-facing views of the ocean and southern Nicoya peninsula. Prana has a queen sized bed, and is unique because it has a view of both the sunrise and the sunset. It has a large open closet that has a small desk and a private deck with a hammock.
Single Economy: (Small / Queen): Shiva $2,600 Single Occupancy
The Shiva Room is small yet very cozy and private, with views of the jungle and a large tree that often has monkeys and toucans in it.
Single Economy: (Small / Queen): Mantra $2,600 Single Occupancy
Located underneath our lower yoga deck, this smaller room has a lot of privacy. It has a queen size bed and a large private bathroom, with a view of the jungle, and a tree in front that’s a favorite of the monkeys and toucans that you can view while laying in the hammock on the balcony.

What do people say about Dance & Rejuventation Retreats with Joy & Megan:
Life changing experience!
Amazing dance instruction!
I LOVED how Joy's choices of routines and music fit the location
Joy’s dance routines were a exceptionally fun!
It was really helpful and awesome to build up learning several dance routines AND to have your regular dancers in class to be extra help for us newbies
I loved how organized Megan was with the details of the extra activities & I've also never been to a retreat where it is so welcomed to just do whatever you want - and make it your own which was so nice. Joy's dance choreography & music was also really fun & inclusive!
Dancing, stretching, the snorkeling trip, ceviche night, hanging in and by the pool, morning and evening beach walks were ALL trip highlights for me
Restorative yoga with Megan was so good and a highlight of this experience
The morning walks on the beach were magical. It was the perfect way to start the day. I also loved being out at sea!
Honestly, I was surprised with being open and so connected with strangers. I don't share myself that much with people I know.
The organized activities, the great people, and the general vibe of the whole experience made this experience amazing
The classes were great, the ability to take additional classes was a huge plus, the food was amazing, the accommodations were perfect. The property was beautiful, the spa services were great. The attendees were all very friendly and inclusive. The trip was very well organized.
I loved Megan's yoga class! I've gone to a lot of retreats in my life and I have to say that this was my all time favorite!

Pure Magic. Spectacular. A Blessing!
Best retreat center in Costa Rica!!! This is one of the most magical places on the planet. The views are second to none with a 270 degree panoramic look at miles of jungle and ocean. The food is healthy, fresh and almost all of it comes from their permaculture farm.
If you are looking for busy bars and packed parties every night, Montezuma isn't the one for you. However, if you want to meet genuine locals; eat authentic Costa Rican food; explore natural tide pools; venture out to flowing waterfalls; and find the less visited surf spots; Montezuma is your perfect match. Montezuma is a lovely place in Costa Rica with a laid-back, down to earth beach town atmosphere and local culture. The entrance to the Montezuma Waterfall is on site at Anamaya Retreat Center and only a 15 minute walk (which we will explore together in an intentional way during the retreat!).
