BIO:
Elizabeth has been a dancer for as long as she can remember. She began her journey at the age of five, taking ballet, tap, and gymnastics classes, and she has continued dancing ever since.
With 33 years of experience as a public-school educator, Elizabeth was able to incorporate dance into her teaching. She became certified in Zumbatomics for kids and taught it as part of her physical education curriculum. This experience led her to
teach Zumba to adults for 12 years until a knee injury prompted
her to explore new avenues.
Elizabeth has always loved Pilates. She became certified in Mat Pilates in 2015 and later added a POP Pilates certification. She enjoys blending classical Pilates exercises with choreographed routines, creating a dynamic mix of both styles. She also
incorporates props—balls, rings, bands, and weights—to keep every class fresh, challenging, and engaging.Elizabeth credits Pilates with helping her recover from a knee injury, building strength, improving flexibility, and enhancing her overall well-being. She is eager to share her passion for Pilates
with others, drawing on the teachings of Joseph Pilates, the importance of breathwork, the mind-body connection, and her love of dance and movement.
